Events > IFA Ukraine > IFA Ukraine Seminar “IP Taxation in Ukraine: Cross-Border Issues”
19 November, 2008, Kyiv, Ukraine
A desire to advance globalization and a need to tackle growing distinctions has pushed businesses, specialists and governments in many countries to launch joint efforts to effectively manage cross-border challenges. One of the premier spots in this trend is taxation of Intellectual Property.
In Ukraine, with its ongoing progress in the development of the IP sphere, there are still quite a number of topics, especially in taxation, that need professional examination, pointed feedback and adequate policy actions.
To respond to these needs, IFA Ukraine was pleased to organize a Seminar on:
“IP Taxation in Ukraine: Cross-Border Issues”
19 November 2008
IP and tax professionals from IFA Member Companies - Baker McKenzie, Beiten Burkhardt, Ernst & Young, Magisters and PricewaterhouseCoopers – were delivering an in-depth account of and actionable advice on a number of topical issues in IP taxation (e.g. IP in cross-border transactions, franchising, inclusion of royalties into customs value, software payments, etc).
